Who Are We?

PAMPA HARDWOODS is an Argentine company with more than 20 years of experience in the Argentine market manufacturing products, using hard or semi-hard woods like quebracho and algarrobo.

Located in the semi-arid region of the province of Chaco in the Republic of Argentina, the company began as a sawmill which over time evolved into producing wooden products, founded in a sustainable use of our natural resources.

We have for some time now been one of the most important suppliers of algarrobo flooring in Argentina, with advanced technology as well as a clearly defined policy toward our clients, the environment, human resources as well as the community in which we live.

We employ a native workforce for all aspects of production: the conditioning and removal of the bark from the trunk before the wood is cut, cleaned and sanded for polishing and shaping the final product.

Our handcrafted products, like the cutting boards, require intensive manual labor, which is highly valued in this remote community with limited work opportunities.

We are an ecologically responsible company.
The wood used is only taken from dead and dried trees or by culling forest areas approved by the Government and Forestry Departments that control and supervise the northern Argentine forests of Chaco — known as ‘The Impenetrable Forest.’

We offer for export:

  • Cutting Boards: Crafted from the algarrobo tree, the boards offer a unique and very attractive way to display hams, cheeses, coldcuts and gourmet and delicatessen products for tables with a touch of creativity.
